John (Johnnie) Briody

Lisnatinive, Kilcogy, Cavan

John died peacefully on Wednesday 24th June 2026 at College View Nursing Home, Cavan, surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his parents Brigid and John, sisters Mona Duffy and Margaret Halton. Sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen, sons Martin, P.J., Tony and Paul, daughters-in-law Emily, Valerie, Miriam and Patricia, brother James, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his Son Paul’s home in Middletown, Loughduff on Wednesday evening and Thursday from 1pm. until 4pm. for close friends and family. Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Kilcogy (N39W1D6) on Thursday evening from 6pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran on Friday at 12 noon. interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kingston, (née O'Sullivan), Kathleen (Teresa), Straffan Wood, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and formerly of Arva, Co. Cavan, June 23rd 2026 peacefully at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, surrounded by her loving family, pre-deceased by her loving husband Henry Leo (Harry), brothers Lorcan, Anthony and Paddy and sister Margaret. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons David, Brian and Annraoí, daughters -in- law Caroline and Sinead, cherished grandchildren Aaron, Rian, Ruby and Leo, sister Ann, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Loch Gowna, Cavan

Koston, Dieter Sunnyside House, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan, born in Germany, peacefully, in his 90th year, in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital on Wed 24th June 2026. Predeceased by his brother Hubert and his sisters Marianne and Ingrid. Dieter “Papa” will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife Bridget “Daisy”, daughters Heidi and Suzanne, Son in law Bryan, his grandchildren Amy, James and Peter, His in laws Seán (Margo), Teresa (Seán) and Pj (Mary) nieces, nephews, grand -nieces, grand-nephews and many good friends and neighbours.

Dieter’s requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 26th at 12pm at the Church of The Holy Family, Loch Gowna (H12 FT54) with cremation afterward at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan (H12 RF78). The death has occurred of Monica Lynch, 25 Yates Court, 228 Willesden Lane, London and formerly of Altbaugh,Stradone, Co. Cavan. Monday 18th May 2026, Peacefully at the Royal Free Hospital, London. Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Katie, sisters Margaret, Katie, Sue, Mary and Anna, brothers Michael and Pat.

Sadly missed by her brother Brian, sisters-in-law Teresa and Barbara, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Requiem Mass tomorrow Thursday in St. Mary Magdalen Church, Willesden at 6pm. Removal on Friday to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Clifferna at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 1pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
