We regret to inform you of the following deaths in Monaghan and Cavan in recent days.
Angela Smith (nee Clarke), 41 Drumnavanagh, Farnham Rd, Cavan Town, formerly Cavan County Library, Friday, June 26, peacefully at her home in the loving care of her husband John.
Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Clarke " Benvista" (Clones), brothers Charles and Thomas and her sister Mary-Josephine.
Angela was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by her devoted husband John, all her extended family, her principal carer Amanda, good neighbours and her wide circle of friends.
Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Sunday evening from 4:30pm until 6pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial will take place afterwards in Cullies Cemetery.

Margaret Smith (née Small), Clonegonnell, Cavan. Frida, June 26, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Surgical 1.
Predeceased by her loving husband William John, her sister Winifred (Wright) and her brother Joe. Lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her sons William and Sam, her daughter Caroline (Brady), daughter in law Ethel, son in law Colin, granddaughters Megan, Rachel, Holly, Beth and Ruby, sister in law Sadie (Boyle), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Funeral service in St. Fethlimidh's Cathedral, Kilmore, H12FK10 today, Sunday at 2:30 pm followed by committal and burial in Kilmore Parish Graveyard.

Patrick "Paddy" Murray , 3 Railway Cottages, Swellan , Cavan, Friday, June 26, suddenly and peacefully at home.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Bridget and his infant brother John Pius.
Paddy was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his wife Mags Amond, his daughters Nollaig (Gregory) and Sorcha (Dan), his adored grandchildren Éinín, Fáinche, Síomha, Rhea and Noah who were the light of his life, his siblings Philip, Mary, Michael, Rosaleen, Helena and Frances and their families, all his extended relatives, good neighbours and many friends. May he rest in peace.

Removal on Monday afternoon at 1:30pm, travelling via his home and Wolfe Tone St, to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Following Mass the cortège will travel to Cullies Cemetery for committal prayers and burial.

Removal to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Carrickallen, Mountain Lodge, on Monday evening for prayers at 6pm, followed by an opportunity to sympathise with the family until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Predeceased by her parents Lily and Terry and her infant brother Eamon.
Ita, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her loving husband Pat, sons Eamon (Geraldine), Sean (Katarina), Patrick (Valli) and Damien (Tina), her eight cherished grandchildren, Tristan, Gabriel, Páidí, TJ, Maeva, Aleah, Cáel and Layla, brothers Peter, Gerry, Gene and Pauric, sisters Maura, Alice and Bernadette, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.

Cathal Murray, 2 Tirkeenan, Monaghan Town, Monaghan, Friday, June 26, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff in Mullinahinch Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his son Mairtín, his beloved grandson Dónal, his parents and his much loved wife Maureen who passed away in January.
Cathal will be forever loved and cherished by his children, Dolores (Seamie Deeney), Aine (Michael O’Sullivan), Ciaran (Deirdre Sheridan), Paula (Paul O’Carroll), daughter-in-law Collette, his 18 adored grandchildren, his brother Paddy, his sisters Ita and Mai, his nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved him.
Cathal will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home, Milltown, Monaghan (H18YF22) today, Sunday, June 28, from 2pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Cathal’s funeral procession will arrive on Monday (29th) to St Macartan’s Cathedral for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Latlurcan cemetery.
