Explore more than 15 food stalls showcasing the very best in artisan produce, street food, sweet treats, freshly baked goods and much more. Whether you’re a dedicated foodie or simply looking for a great day out, organisers promise there’s something at Carrick Kitchen Fest to suit every taste.

Carrickmacross Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Monaghan County Council, is delighted to present this exciting celebration of the town’s vibrant food scene.

What’s On

n Food stalls from local cafés, restaurants and producers in Market Square from 10am-1pm.

n Special Carrick Kitchen Fest menu offerings available in cafés and restaurants throughout the town for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

n A delightful Afternoon Tea experience at the Shirley Arms Hotel.

n A fun-filled Gingerbread Workshop for children, hosted by Carrickmacross Toy Library.

n An exciting Gingerbread Trail for families to enjoy.

n A Bread-Making Competition open to bakers of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. The winning entry will be announced on the day.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music performances will be provided by Brendan McCahey, World Choir and Grainne Duffy.
