All-Ireland camogie finals: Antrim win intermediate title with win over Laois

At half-time in the All-Ireland senior camogie final, it is Galway who lead Cork 0-9 to 0-7 in a tight first half in Croke Park.

The sides were level four times in the first half, with Caoimhe Kelly and Niamh Niland scoring two points each. However, Galway lost Niamh Mallon to injury.

Sorcha McCartan scored two points for Cork, with Amy O'Connor scoring three.

Carrie Dolan, who scored two brilliant points, can consider herself lucky to still be on the pitch after two dangerous tackles.

All-Ireland Intermediate camogie final

Antrim are All-Ireland Intermediate camogie champions after a 1-22 to 0-11 win over Laois.

The win means Antrim return to senior camogie after they were relegated in 20024, while back-to-back All-Ireland titles for Laois could not be completed.

Antrim's Roisin McCormick scored 1-11 in a performance to remember in an All-Ireland final.

Antrim started quickly and had a 0-7 to 0-3 lead after 21 minutes.

Scores from McCormick and Eobha McAllister helped Antrim to a 0-9 to 0-5 lead at the interval, as they were always a step ahead of Laois.

While Laois closed the gap to two points at one stage, McCormick's goal put Antrim nine ahead in the 40th minute with a 1-14 to 0-8 lead, as they put the foot down in the second half.

In what turned out to be a one-sided final, Antrim scored 1-15 from play, as they will return to the top tier of camogie.

All-Ireland Premier Junior camogie final

Armagh are All-Ireland Premier Junior camogie champions after they defeated Cavan 0-17 to 0-15 in Croke Park.

It is joy for Armagh after the heartbreak of losing last season's final, while it is still a remarkable season for Cavan, as they went years without fielding a camogie team.

Rachael Trainor scored six points from corner forward for Armagh, including two inside the first 10 minutes as Armagh led 0-4 to 0-3.

Cavan grew into the game and led 0-8 to 0-6, with Róisin O'Keefe coming up with vital points.

However, Trainor's free just before the interval put Armagh one ahead at the interval.

Armagh kicked on early in the second half, stretching out to a 0-14 to 0-9 lead after 39 minutes.

The opening 10 minutes of the second half proved to be crucial, as Armagh kept Cavan at arm's length.

Both goalkeepers were in top form to keep clean sheets, and while Cavan had their chances to make a comeback, it was Armagh who ran out as winners.
