Reposing at his home Hillside, Emyvale H18 D959 on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th from 12 noon until 9.00pm. Removal on Wednesday August 19th to St Mary’s Church, Glennan, Glaslough for 11.00am Requiem Mass with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Wednesday morning please.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Margaret, son-in-law Eamon, nephews, nieces and large family circle. St Patrick pray for him.

The death has occurred of Dympna Hamill nee Coyle, Corleygorm, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan on Saturday, August 15th peacefully in the presence of her loving daughter Patricia.
Predeceased by her husband John (Johnny), sister Bridget Gallagher, brothers Frankie and Tommy.
Dympna deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her heart broken daughter Patricia, sister Anna Mc Avinney her many nieces, nephews, neighbours, large circle of friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dympna will repose at her residence in Corleygorm, Broomfield (A75EY93) tomorrow Monday from 1pm until 8pm. Dympna’s funeral cortège will arrive to St Lastra's Church, Donaghmoyne, on Tuesday for funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
House private to family on Tuesday morning by request please.

Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to announce that the death has occurred of Vineta Strode (née Badune) 13 Finn Park, Roslea and formerly of Glaslough St, Monaghan Town and Varaklani, Latvia on Saturday the 15th August.
Vineta will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted fiancé, Luis Filipe Tavares, her beloved sons, Aigars Strods and Ricards Dzerkals, her daughter-in-law Vlada Strods, , her cherished grandson, Dominiks Strods, her dear brother, Raitis Baduns, her beloved dog Gerda and all her family and friends in Roslea, Monaghan and her home in Latvia. Her passing will be deeply felt by her work family at Tiernaneill Mushrooms, Monaghan, where she was a valued and much loved member of the team.

Andy (Andrew) (The Sailor) Clarke

The death has occurred of Andy (Andrew) Clarke (The Sailor), Crann, Maudabawn, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, who passed away peacefully on Monday, 17th August 2026, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Billis, Cavan.
Predeceased by his parents Molly and Andy Clarke, his brothers Owen and Pat and his beloved wife Mary.
Sadly missed by his daughter Geraldine and son-in-law Benny Igoe, his grandchildren Cian, Leona, Conan & Dara, his adored great grandchild Leo & his mother Shannen, brother Sean (Helen) nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, neighbours, Castlemanor residents and many, many friends.
May he Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the home of his daughter Geraldine and son-in-law Benny Igoe, Station Road, Cootehill, on Tuesday, 18th August, from 3pm until 7pm. House private at all other times please.
Removal on Wednesday, 19th August, at 10.30am to St Patrick's Church, Maudabawn, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
