The death has occurred of Laurence Flood, Derryheen, Butlersbridge, Co.Cavan and formerly Abbey St. Cavan Town.
We are heartbroken to share that Laurence passed away peacefully on Wednesday the 19th August, 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Kathleen.
Loved always by his wife Pauline, daughter Ruby, sister Corinne (Eamon) brother Edward (Deirdre) brothers-in-law Noel (Ronna), Eamon RIP (Donna), Martin (Deborah), Joe (Aoife), his nieces and nephews, his uncles Paddy and Oliver, Aunts Annamay and Colette, his many cousins, great friends and neighbours and extended family.

Laurence will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan (H12C821) on Saturday 22nd August from 4pm until 8pm, with a 20 minute break at 6pm. Removal Sunday 23rd August to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 o'clock with burial following mass in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry.

John Goode, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan and formerly of Derrylahan, Co. Roscommon. John subsequently resided in England and Co. Kildare.
After a short illness at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, and his first wife Margaret. Deeply regretted by his sons Johnnie, Kieran, Roan-Daragh, daughter Saoirse, grandchildren, daughters in law, brothers Michael (England), Pat (England), Joe(Derrylahan), Oliver (England), sisters Mary(Kiltoom), Ann(Lucan), Breege (Ballygar) and Teresa (Kildare), his ex- wife Noeleen, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Forever loved and missed by her husband Eric, brother Michael (Ann), sisters Eileen (Mick R.I.P.), Bernadette (Martin), Joan (Eddie), Monica (Gerry) and Noreen (Sean), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Francis and Mary McManus Barran, her sister Sheila McGourty, brother James, John and Hugh. Will be sadly missed by her sister Eilish Leo and brother Francie, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

James will be sadly missed by his daughter Maddie, son Jamie and partner Catriona (Teenie). Beloved son of James and Martina and much-loved brother to Paul (Caroline) and Noeleen (Glen). The death has occurred of Leo McCarville. Cavanageeragh, Carrickmacross. 19th August 2026, in his 90th year. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his wife Eileen, his son Leo (Deirdre) and his daughter Shirley (Karl), his much-loved grandchildren; Ferdia, Caoimhe, Niamh & Aoife, his sister Bridie Kelly, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Monaghan and Ennis Road Care Facility, Ennis Road, Limerick on Tuesday 18th August 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and the staff of University Hospital, Limerick.
Predeceased by his mother Mary, father Patrick, brothers James Patrick and Eddie, sisters Kathleen McAllister, Mary Ann Corr, Bridget Murray, Lizzie McKenna and Rosaleen McMahon.
