The death has occurred of Maisie O'Reilly, Knockateggart, Stradone, Co. Cavan. Sunday, August 23rd, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, in her 94th year, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband John, parents James and Mary, sister Nancy, brothers Pearce and Packie Tom - recently deceased.
Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Geraldine (Martin) McHugh, Kill, brother Kevin (England), grandsons Niall (Louise) and Gary (Nicola), sister-in-law Marie, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of James Clarke, Cootehill and Seeorum, Bailieborough, Co Cavan. James passed away peacefully on the 23rd August 2026, in the exceptional care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Bridget and his niece Patricia.
Beloved father of Louise (Francis), Nicolle, Arlene (Darren), Michéal (Mairead) and Darren (Podge). Proud grandfather of Maisie Rose, Archie, Elsie, Ned, Georgie, Edie, Pearl and Sionna. James will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by Rosemarie, his children, grandchildren, sisters Anna (Dick) and Teresa (Thomas), extended family, neighbours and friends.

With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Helen Sheridan at Cavan General Hospital following a short illness. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary, her brother Peter and her beloved nephew Padráig. Helen's passing is deeply regretted and she will be forever sadly missed by her dear brother Patsy, her sister in law Cecilia, her loving niece Ursula (John) and her cherished grandnephews, Conall and Cuán, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May Helen Rest In Eternal Peace
Reposing at The Village Chapel Of Rest, Mullagh, A82DE28, on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Funeral Mass on Wednesday Morning at 11am in St. Kilian’s Church, Mullagh, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
The Sheridan family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of both Cavan General Hospital and St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Virginia for the exceptional care and love shown to Helen during her time with them.

We are saddened to announce the death of Mary (May) McGivern (née McKenna), Aughnacloy, Co.Tyrone and formerly Clady, Co.Armagh. Sunday 23rd August, peacefully at Copperfields Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Daughter of the late Mary & Paddy McKenna, Oriel Park, Emyvale.
Much loved sister of Dette, Kay, Mona, Geraldine, Martin and the late Siobina who died in infancy and dear aunt to Cecilia.
Loving mother to Jim, Sean (Siobhan), Dan (Michelle), Kevin (Martina), Michael (Briege), Deborah (Vincent) and the late Martin.
Very deeply regretted by her brothers in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and the entire McGivern, Loughran, McKenna (Emyvale) and McKenna (Deravoy) families.
May May’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
May’s remains will repose at McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Monday from 3pm - 8pm and at her family home in Clady (74 Clady Road, BT60 2HA) on Tuesday & Wednesday from 12 Noon both days. House private on Thursday to family and close friends only please.
May’s Funeral Mass will take place in St. Michael’s Church, Clady on Thursday at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
