Carmel Shalvey (nee Moore), Corragarry, Cootehill and formerly Fairview, Cavan Town, Friday 11th September 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.
Predeceased by her father Charlie Moore, her sister Mary and her brother John.
Carmel was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by her adoring family, husband Gabriel, daughter Shannon, sons Felim (Megan), Stephen and Conor, her cherished grandchildren Holly and Riagán, mother Bridget, her brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all her extended family and her many friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16 FD25) on Sunday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Carmel's Funeral Mass will take place in St. Patrick's Church, Maudabawn on Monday at 3pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Philomena (Phil) Maguire (née McMahon) of Curragha, Co. Meath. Formerly of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and Mullabane, Coolderry.
Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Jim, adored mother of Jennifer, Colm and Robert. Devoted grandmother of Garvan, Frances-Ellen, Oisín and Maeve. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Damien, daughters-in-law Cordula and Claire, her sisters Rose, Carmel, Eileen, brother Michael, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family and friends. Pre-deceased by her loving sisters Christine and Breda. Beloved daughter of the late Mick and Winifred McMahon.
Reposing at the family home in Curragha on Sunday 13 th September between 3pm and 7pm. Funeral mass at 11.30am on Monday 14 th September in St. Andrew’s Church, Curragha, Co. Meath. Burial in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.

Mc Quaid (Killyfuddy, Newbliss Co Monaghan) 12th September 2026, peacefully, at home in the loving care of his loving family, Kieran, beloved son of Seamus and Bernadette and loving brother to Linda, Sean, Sabrina, Gary, Melissa and the late Baby Laura. May they rest in peace. Kieran's remains will repose at the family home, Killyfuddy, Newbliss H18P031 on Sunday and Monday between the hours of 3pm until 9pm with the family home private on the morning of the Funeral please. Removal on Tuesday at 10.30am to St Livinius Church, Killeevan for 11am Requiem Mass, burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his Soul. Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing father, mother, brothers, sisters, brothers in law Niall and Warren, sister in law Sinead, Sean's partner Sinead, nephews, nieces, his carers, friends and the entire family circle.

Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to announce that the death has occurred of Inga Rusina, 52 Wylie’s Hill, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Pastende, Talsu, Novads, Latvia on Wednesday the 9th of September at her home.

Inga will be forever loved and cherished by her daughters Laila and Kitija, her much loved grandchildren, Domeniks, Deniss and Izabella, her mother Aina, brother Arnis, her many friends in Ballybay and Latvia, her neighbours and extended family members. Her passing will be deeply felt by her work family at Keypak, Ballybay where she was a valued and much loved member of the team.
Inga will repose in Clerkins Funeral Home, Milltown, Monaghan (H18YF22) on Tuesday (15th) from 6pm until 9pm. A private cremation will take place, followed by her return home to Latvia. Her ashes will be laid to rest there, surrounded by the love of her family and the place she held dear.

The death has occurred of Monica Ward (née Callaghan), 61 Bree, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, on Saturday, 12th September 2026, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, her infant son Maurice, and her son Michael.
Monica will be deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her daughters Alice, Monica, Catríona, Valerie, Amie and Crystal, son Damien, sons-in-law, brother Colm, her 16 cherished grandchildren and 6 adored great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
Monica will repose at her home in Bree tomorrow, Sunday, from 12 noon until 8 p.m.
Removal on Monday morning from her residence in Bree, at 10:20am, proceeding on foot, arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium.
