Mostly cloudy today with rain developing later

A mostly cloudy day with rain developing in the west of the region later this morning, with a few showers elsewhere. The rain will slowly move eastwards through the rest of the day. Highest temperatures will be in the east of the province, with highs of 17 to 20 degrees, but cooler in the west, with highs of 13 to 16 degrees. Winds will be light to moderate southerly or variable.

The band of rain and drizzle will move eastwards across the province as the night goes on, becoming heavier and more persistent as it does. As the cloud, rain and drizzle clears eastwards, western parts will be left mostly dry with good clear spells, and isolated showers. Minimum temperatures will fall to between 7 and 11 degrees, warmest in the east of the province, with patches of mist and fog in light, variable breezes.

Mist and fog will clear tomorrow morning, leaving a mostly dry day with sunny spells, and only the odd isolated shower. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees, in light to moderate westerly or variable breezes.
