Woodford to appear at major automotive expo

Woodford Diagnostics & Training Services is encouraging people to visit its stall at the 2026 Auto Trade Expo, taking place from October 10-11 in the RDS Simmonscourt.

The largest automotive exhibition in Ireland, the Cavan-town based company will be at stand numbers L-17 and L-18 across the weekend, and hope that as many people as possible will come and have a chat with them.

“Looking forward to meeting customers old and new,” says Robert Keith, who founded the company in 1994 after years of working within the motor trade.

When the business opened 32 years ago, it was workshop-based at first, mainly carrying out diagnostic work on motor vehicles.

As it grew, the workshop business became separated from diagnostic equipment sales, an area of the business that continues to grow and now includes a vast range of leading brand names such as Launch Europe - as their official Irish distributor, Autocom, Sherpa, Pico, Sykes-Pickavant among others.

Woodford Automotive Training was established as a result of demand and training now takes place in conjunction with diagnostic equipment sales.

Learning preferred methods and the best techniques for working on cars is a time-consuming process, and it may be difficult to grasp adequate knowledge of advanced techniques without proper guidance.

Completing training with Woodford could save time in the long-term and will make it easier to move more quickly from one job to the next. Learning proper repair techniques will also make work more reliable and trustworthy, which is important even when working on personal vehicles.

Woodford Diagnostic & Training Services is open from 9am until 6pm from Monday to Thursday and from 9am until 5pm on Fridays.
