'Boil water' notice lifted
Families, businesses and customers in Arvagh can resume normal use of their tap water following the lifting of a Do Not Consume Notice.
Uisce Éireann, in consultation with the Health Service Executive (HSE), confirmed the water supply is safe for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth and all domestic uses.
The notice, issued on Thursday, October 1, due to elevated manganese levels in water entering the supply, was lifted following remedial works and satisfactory water quality tests confirming compliance with drinking water standards.
Uisce Éireann thanked the community for its patience and cooperation during the disruption.
