32 Marathons in 32 Days
Ken Whitelaw and Gerry Duffy are making good progress in their challenge to run a marathon a day - one in each of the 32 counties - for 32 consecutive days. They started on July 2 in Longford and will finish running on Monday, August 2 in Mullingar. The Cavan leg is this Saturday, July 31. The endurance feat is in aid of Irish Autism Action, Autism Northern Ireland and the Irish Cancer Society and runners and walkers have been joining the two lads every day; if you can walk, run or jog a half or full marathon, go and join the fun at Breffni Park and raise money for worthy causes. They are running today Wednesday, July 28 in Castleblayney; tomorrow Thursday, July 29 in Drogheda; on Friday, July 30 in Navan; on Saturday, July 31 in Cavan town; on Sunday, August 1 at Lough Rynn Castle, Mohill; and on Monday, August 2 in Mullingar... the homecoming and grand finale marathon!
