One of the weekend's entertainment highlights is a fundraiser in aid of Ava Kellett. Ava (3) from Lavey suffers from a very rare disease and requires treatment at The Peto Institute, in Budapest, Hungary. A fundraising initiative gets underway tonight with a karaoke competition tonight at The Castle Pub, Baillieboro. There's loads of cash prizes and a monster raffle! Bailieborough in Bloom Where: Bailieborough Library is the meeting point When: Sunday, November 4, 11am What: The biggest ever mass bulb planting event in Ireland, led by the Irish Wildlife Trust, Cavan Branch. It is intended, with the help of all our local community groups and individuals to plant thousands of spring bulbs on all the approach roads, schools, churches and on waste ground. What: Drumgoon 'Play-Actors' are taking to the stage again this weekend with a new three-act comedy play called 'Something's In The Air' in aid of charity.
