Banned for ten years Thomas O"Callaghan, Apt 2, 5 Wellington Quay, Drogheda was sentenced to three months in prison for driving with excess alcohol, reading 103mg/100ml breath at Derrylurgan, Ballyjamesduff on July 17 last. He was also disqualified from driving for ten years. The court heard that he was driving while disqualified. Driving without due care Martin Reilly, Loughdawan, Loughduff was fined €300 for driving without due care and attention at Loughdawan, on April 21 last. He was also bound to the peace for 12 months. Unregistered vehicle Daniel Maguire, Aughagreagh, Aughnacliffe was fined €200 when convicted of possessing an unregistered vehicle at Main Street, Arva on June 17, 2007. Excess Alcohol Colm McCormack, Drumgoon, Killeshandra was fined €400 for driving with excess alcohol, reading 48mg/100ml breath at Drumgoa, Killeshandra on June 2 last. He was also disqualified from driving for two years and three months. Fined €750 Aidan O"Brien, Aughnamullan, Castleblayney was fined €750 for driving without due care and attention at Grousehall, Finea on June 25 last. Excess Alcohol Stephen O"Hanlon, Pound Street, Arva was fined €250 for driving with excess alcohol, reading 60mg/100ml breath at Main Street, Arva on May 5 last. He was also disqualified from driving for two years and three months, effective from November 1. Fined €500 Padraig Miney, Corr, Cornafean was fined €500 when convicted of engaging in offensive conduct, in that he did while in an intoxicated state, physically fight with Collette McKenna and shout abusive language towards her at Main Street, Arva on April 13 last. Unregistered Vehicle Barney Nolan, 4 Porters Row, Arva was fined €300 when convicted of possessing an unregistered vehicle at Brankhill, Arva on May 19, 2007. He was fined a further €500 for driving without insurance and disqualified from driving for 12 months. Recognisances were fixed in the event of an appeal. The defendant was not in court. €150 for Arva Senior Citizens James O"Connor, 43 Lealand Avenue, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 was ordered to pay €150 to the Arva Senior Citizens fund as a result of being before the court on a charge of being intoxicated in a public place, namely Tycusker, Arva on July 6 last. The case was adjourned to September 24 to allow him pay the donation. If it is paid, Judge MacBride said he would dismiss the offence and apply the POA. Bench Warrant A warrant was issued for the arrest of Aishling Hughes, 12 Drive, 2 Muirhevnamore, Dundalk who failed to appear in court to answer a charge alleging that she stole cosmetics worth €40 at Centra, Main Street, Arva on April 19, 2007.
