The Anglo-Celt to stream Cavan parade live

The Anglo-Celt will stream the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Cavan town live on its website (www.anglocelt.ie) next Wednesday from 12.30pm, courtesy of local media production company, Maguire Media. This follows the success of streaming last Friday's Anglo-Celt/GAA Media Awards on our website to which 350 computers (or individual connections) tuned in to the event online. Now, for the first time, we will stream the parade live to the world so that Cavan diaspora all over the globe can tune in. Cavan native Garret Maguire will be charged with the production and he's seeking to demonstrate the live streaming technology and its capabilities to consumers and businesses all over the region. Maguire Media is a leading media production company located in the North East with a proven track record going back to 1990. Over the past 16 years, Garret and his company have developed to cater for both the corporate and broadcast sector working on productions for Sky, RTE, TV3, TG4 and TVE, Spain. The live streaming element of the business has been developed over the past few months and can be used for conferences, bringing an event to a wider audience or even weddings.
