The death has occurred of Gus Finnegan Derry City, Derry / and formerly of Cavan, September 11, 2020, peacefully at home.

Beloved husband of Lucia and loving father of Damian, Sean and step father of Anne.

Dear father-in-law of Carina and dear grandfather of Callum, Maddyisn, Mia, Rubi, Séan, Ellen, Liam and Harry.

Funeral from his home, 141 Riverview, Ballykelly on Sunday 13th September at 11:30am to Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, Steelstown for Mass at 12:15pm. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his soul.

Bernard (Brian, Bennie) McBreen

The death has occurred of Bernard (Brian, Bennie) McBreen.

Navan Road, Dublin 7 and native of Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Retired Garda (Pearse Street, Dublin Castle and Harcourt Square). Peacefully in the loving care of daughter Sinead and the staff of the Mater hospital on 9th. September 2020. Mourned by his wife Anne, children Niamh, Daragh and Sinead, son-in-law Richard and grandchildren Josh and Ethan. Brother to the departed John. Brother to Bridie and family Co. Cavan and Christy and family in New York. Sadly missed by his family, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When current circumstances have passed we look forward to celebrating Bernard [Brian]’s life with friends and extended family. Kathleen Smyth

The death has occurred of Kathleen Smyth, Hollywood, Ballinode, Monaghan, Saturday, 12th September, peacefully, at her residence. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Beloved wife to Edward and mother to Betty, Margaret, Owen, Eamonn, Catherine and Patrick. Loving sister to Dympna and grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Kathleen's remains will repose at her residence from 2pm - 9pm, Sunday,13th September. Due to HSE restrictions, Kathleen's residence will be private to family and close friends only, please. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11am at St Mary’s Church, Urbleshanney, Scotstown, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
