Pauline BLACK (née Storey)

BLACK - Pauline (née Storey) (Grange Manor, Rathfarnham and formerly of Farnham Road, Cavan) 19th December 2020 suddenly but peacefully at St James’s Hospital; Predeceased by her husband Richard Black (1997). Sadly missed by her daughter Ingrid (Williams), son-in-law John, grandchildren Scott, David and Rachel, her sister Valerie (Wood), sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and her great neighbours and many friends in Rathfarnham, Cavan and The ICA.

A private family funeral Service is taking place at this time due to government restrictions. Following the Service the funeral cortege will pass by the residence at Grange Manor on Wednesday at 10.30am thence going to New Cemetery, Cavan Town (arriving 12.30 approx).

Terence (Terry) Fay

Tullybrick, Lisboduff, Bunnoe, Cavan

Terence (Terry) Fay, Tullybrick, Lisboduff, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Died 21st December 2020, peacefully, in the loving care of his family at Cavan General Hospital, predeceased by his sister Mary.

Will be very sadly missed his loving wife Gretta, his children Marcella (Andy), Stephen (Joanne), Nigel (Paula) and Colin (Laura), his adored grandchildren Liam, Lara, Kyra, Jack, Darragh, Callum, Jayden, Lexie, Myah and Maisie, brothers Eugene, John and Philip, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral cortège to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Bunnoe for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm this Wednesday, private to his family and close friends only, but can be viewed live on www.churchtv.ie/bunnoe. Private cremation afterwards to family only at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Those who are paying their respects along the route are asked to observe social distancing guidelines and keep everyone safe.

House strictly private at all times please.

John McGerty

Togher, Cork / Butlersbridge, Cavan

McGerty (Greenwood Estate, Togher and formerly of Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan), on December 19th 2020, peacefully at the Mater Hospital, Dublin, John (retired detective sergeant). Beloved husband of Christine(Chris) (nee Jackman), loving father of Niamh, Deidre and Nessa. Cherished grandfather (Doh) of Ciara, Conor, Shay, Danny and Finn. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, Damian Lynagh, Phil Shepard and Pat O’Sullivan, relatives and a large circle of friends.

May he rest in peace.

In accordance with the current government guidelines on public gatherings John’s funeral will be private.

Mary MacNeill

Castleknock, Dublin / Clones, Monaghan

Mary MacNeill (Luttrellstown Walk, Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Duneen, Newtownbutler Road, Clones, Co. Monaghan December 20th. 2020, peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved daughter of the late Barney and Phyllis and dear sister of Pauline, Siobhán, Brian, Ciarán, Lorcán and Darragh.

Sadly missed by her loving family, nephews Brian and Cailan, nieces Muireann, Aoibheann and Orla, sisters-in-law Bridie and Nimu, Darragh’s partner Alice, Pauline’s partner Patrick and extended family, relatives and friends. R.I.P.

O'Connor, Evelyn, December 21st 2020, peacefully at St. Phelim's Nursing Home, Dromahair and late of Drumlease and late of Shriff, Dromahair. Sadly missed by her nieces Mary (Brennan) Bridget (Ruttledge) Mary (Conlon) and Sadie (Foley) grandnieces Marie, Frances, Maria and Sarah, grandnephews, David, Tomas and Mark, nephew-in-law Tommy, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Fowley's Funeral Home, Dromahair. Removal on Wednesday, 23rd December 2020, to St. Patrick's Church, Dromahair for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, burial afterwards in Newtownmanor New Cemetery.
