It is with regret that we note the following deaths from counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Joan McEnroe

Carrickavee, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

The death has occurred of Joan McEnroe (nee Lynch), Carrickavee, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Batty, sisters May and Bridget, brother Jim and granddaughter, Mary Rose.

Much loved mother of Colette, Malachy, Siobhan and Rosemary. Sadly missed by her cherished grandchildren Isabelle & James, brother Vincent, sons in law Cathal and Donald, relatives, friends and neighbours.

MAY HER GENTLE, LOVING SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at her family home in Carrickavee, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, A82 Y8D5, on Monday, 9th May from 3pm until prayers at 8pm.

In keeping with Covid 19 best practice guidelines. The family respectfully request a "walk through only" please.

Removal on Tuesday morning, 10th May, to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan for funeral Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House private at all other times. The family are very thankful for your support and consideration at this time.

Pat Leddy

Drumgore, Loughduff, Cavan

Pat died peacefully at The Lisdarn Unit, Cavan on Saturday May 7th 2022. Predeceased by his wife Peggy and his sister Cissy.

Sadly missed by his son Gerry and Patricia, nephew J J, niece Mary, cousins, neighbours and his many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Kilcogy Village(N39W1D6) on Monday evening from 7 pm. with prayers at 8.30 pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11 am. in St. Joseph's Loughduff. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

House strictly private.

Patrick (Pat) Gregory

Mullaghinshinagh, Inniskeen, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Gregory 7th May 2022, Mullaghinshinagh, Inniskeen, Co Monaghan peacefully in the tender care of the staff of the Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Dear son of the late Patrick and Margaret Gregory. Beloved brother of Brigid Lynch (Ashbourne Co Meath), Olive Gregory, Anne Duffy (Lannett Inniskeen), brother in law Tom Lynch, much loved uncle of Kieran, Fintan, Donal, Isobel, Margaret and Olive. Sadly missed by grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Mary Alice (Ciss) Crothers, no.5 Millbrook Terrace, Clones, Co.Monaghan, peacefully at her residence in 102nd year. Predeceased by her parents, husband Jack, brothers and sister.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Marie, son Sean, sister Rosaleen, brother Brendan, daughter in-law Moira, grandchildren Adam, Louise, Rachel & David, great-grandchildren Aaron and Ruadhan, many neighbours and good friends.

House Private.

Reposing at her residence.Removal on Monday, 9th May, at 10:30am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Clones at 11am for Requiem mass followed by interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Clones.
