Pat Smith

Pat Smith, Drumohan, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan. Saturday October 29th 2022, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at St. Joseph’s, Lisdarn, Cavan. Predeceased by his sisters Mary and Maggie, and brothers Ben and Mick. Pat will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Meena, sons Gerard and Joseph, daughter in law Catherine, granddaughter Alana, great-granddaughter Nevaeh, sister in law Kathleen, nephew, nieces, neighbours, all his relatives and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Pat will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan H12 C821, on Sunday evening from 3.30pm until 5.30 with no handshakes please. Removal from the funeral home on Monday morning at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Castletara arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery.

Please remain alert to the dangers posed by Covid19 which will help to keep everyone safe.

KEOGAN (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Munterconnaught, Virginia, Co. Cavan) October 28th, 2022 (suddenly and peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Patrick, beloved husband of Dolores, cherished father of Paul, Brian, Catherine and Trish, devoted grandfather of Rachel, Caoimhe, Sophie, Jack, Killian, Riain, Darragh, Hannah and Ryan and dear brother of Pauline, Maureen, Gertie, Dympna, Dolores, Eithne, Tommy, Sean and the late Martin. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Regina and Lydia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Marymount Care Centre, Westmanstown on Sunday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip on (Monday) afternoon arriving for Requiem Mass at 1pm followed by burial in Confey Cemetery. Patrick’s funeral Mass can be viewed by following this LINK on Monday afternoon. No flowers, please. Donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice.

GEORGE LOMAX Racecourse Road, Roscommon Town and formerly of Ballintubber, Co Roscommon and Cavan Town. October 27th, 2022. (Peacefully); in the devoted and loving care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon. He will be sadly missed by his family, carers and friends.

In accordance with George’s wishes, a private cremation will take place.

Angela Reilly, Drumalee, Cavan, former staff member, Cavan Co. Council. Friday October 28, peacefully in the loving care of her family and the exceptional staff of Cavan General Hospital. Pre-deceased by her parents Paddy and Kitty. Dearly loved by her family and sadly missed by her brother Gerry, sister Rosemary and Patricia, sister in law Rosaleen, brothers in law Jim McGreevy and Jim Dunne, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, former colleagues, wonderful neighbours, all her relatives and many, many friends.

Tragically, following a road traffic accident, on Thursday, October 27. Ronnie and Jean will be dearly missed by their heartbroken family; William, Lorraine (Johnston), Lucinda (Greacen), Lynette (Douglas) and Samuel, sons-in-law Alan, Alan and Raymond, daughter-in-law Jill, also their treasured grandchildren Ryan, Matthew, Grace, Harry, Alfie, Bobby, Amy, Hannah, Noah, Joseph and Will, Ronnie's brother Jim and sister Doreen, pre-deceased by his sister Hilda, Jean's brothers Walter and Meredith Scott, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle.

Resting at their home until removal on Monday, 31st October, at 12 noon for funeral service in the Elim Church, Ballybay Road, Monaghan at 1 pm. Interment afterwards in Coolshannagh burial grounds, Monaghan.
