Josephine Brady (née O'Rourke)

Clare, Crosserlough, Cavan

Josephine passed away peacefully, in her 97th year, in the loving care of her family and nursing staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Wife of the late Bernard (Bennie), mother to Pat, Betty (Gene), Vincent (Sinead), grandmother to Martin (Christine), Siobhan (Gavin), Caroline, Cormac, Aisling, Niamh and Brien (Grace), great grand son Sean Cody, sister in law Rose O'Rourke. Deeply regretted by her family, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Killnaleck, on Wednesday, the 21st, from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Thursday from her home to St Mary's Church, Crosserlough, arriving for requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Carrickallen Cemetery.

Mary Cassidy

Greagh, Corlough, Cavan

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Kevin, her family, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Mary's Funeral Mass will take place privately.

Seán Ward

Lisagoan, Shercock, Cavan / Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred suddenly of Seán Ward, Lisagoan, Shercock, Co. Cavan, 20th June 2023. Much loved husband of Deirdre and loving father of Killian and Daniel. Sadly missed by his mother, brothers, sister and extended family.

Rest in Peace

A private funeral Mass will take place for family in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt on Friday with private burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Seán's funeral cortège will travel from the Shercock Road, Kingscourt on Friday morning at 9.40 am approximately via Main Street and Hall Street, Kingscourt to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt. Friends and neighbours are very welcome to line that route as a mark of respect. Family flowers only please.
