It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Oliver Conaty, Drumkeeran, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan, Thursday 14th September, Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his devoted and loving wife Bernie (Barney), sons Damien, John and Pearse, daughter Roisin, sister Rita brother Denis, daughters in law, grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home H12 FK88 from 4pm to 8pm, tomorrow, Friday. Please enter from the Ballyhaise side and exit via new line or Butlersbridge. House private at all other times, please. Removal to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Ballyhaise on Saturday for 3pm Requiem Mass, interment afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Castletara.

Dan Beattie

No 3, Cavanreagh, Scotshouse, Monaghan

The death occurred of Dan Beattie, No 3, Cavanreagh, Scotshouse, Co Monaghan, Wednesday 13th September, unexpectedly at home. Predeceased by his parents Kathleen and Bill and his brother Brendan. Dan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters, Attracta (USA) and Nuala (Australia), brothers Vincent, Ambrose and Vivian (all Scotshouse), extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Dan.

May Dan's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
