Virginia Rambers
WHERE: Virginia.
WHEN: Wednesday, October 24, 7pm.
WHAT: Virginia Ramblers evening walk. Depart from Virginia Show Center for town walk around Swiftbrook.

Halloween Disco
WHERE: St Mary's NS, Drung.
WHEN: Thursday October 25, 7-8.30pm. 
WHAT: Wear your best costume. Dancing contests and raffle on night. Voluntary contribution.

 

Halloween Fancy Dress Disco
WHERE: Mullahoran Parochial Hall.
WHEN: Thursday, October 25 from 7-8.30pm.
WHAT: Mullahoran Parents Association hosts the annual Fancy Dress Disco. Parental/Guardian supervision is required for all children in Junior and Senior Infants please. Looking forward to lots of fun on the night.

 

Drumavaddy Youth Club
WHERE: Drumavaddy Community Centre.
WHEN: Thursday, October 25 between 7-8pm.
WHAT: The Annual Halloween Disco on. Admission €5 or €30 per family. A parent or guardian must stay with their child for supervision purposes.

 

Forest of Fears

WHERE: Starts at the Rugby Club at Deer Park, Ballyjamesduff

WHEN: Friday, October 26, from 7:30pm

WHAT: Virginia RFC dares you to enter the forest of fears. Price is €5 per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult into the forest.

 

Fun Table Quiz
WHERE: Gallonray House, Maudabawn, Cootehill.
WHEN: Friday night October 26 at 9.30pm.
WHAT: Table quiz in aid of Drumgoon camogie club. Loads of spot prizes on the night and raffle for Halloween hampers will take place. Your support is greatly appreciated.

 

One Act plays
WHERE: Ramor Theatre.
WHEN: Friday, October 26 at 8pm.
WHAT: Sillan Players team up with Bailieborough Drama Group to present their two One Act plays in the Ramor Theatre.

 

Charity walk
WHERE: Meeting at the Royal Breffni Tierworker.
WHEN: Friday, October 26  at 7.15 pm.
WHAT: Walk in Aid of Parkinson’s & Aware. Long & Short Walk. High viz Clothing & Flashlamps necessary for the walk. Refreshments afterwards.

 

‘Fright for Your Lights’
WHERE:  St Anne’s Car Park beside the Town Lake, Cavan.
WHEN: Friday, October 26.
WHAT: ‘Halloween Fright Night’. €10 per family, €5 euro per child. Fun, hot drinks and nibbleys, face painting and plenty of scary stuff! Contact Tony at 086 3993430.

 

Cake sale

WHERE: Outside B&F Stores, Ballinagh.
WHEN: Saturday, October 27.
WHAT: Ballinagh and District Vintage hold a cake sale on outside B&F Stores, with all proceeds in aid of Stroke Unit Cavan General Hospital. Please support.

 

Charity Concert
WHERE:  Church of Ireland, Virginia.
WHEN:  Saturday, October 27 at 8pm.
WHAT: Orchestre d'accordeon du Sundgau together with Accora Orchestra (Mullagh) perform a charity concert. Join us for some light classical, French and Irish music. All donations on the door go to Virginia Cancer Care. Free admission.

Coffee morning
WHERE:  St Brigid’s Community Centre Loch Gowna.
WHEN:  Sunday, October 28.
WHAT: Coffee morning and cake sale in St Brigid’s Community Centre after mass in aid of Loch Gowna Active Age Social Club. Donations of home-made products would be much appreciated. Please leave in community centre before mass.

Fun Run/Walk
WHERE: From Mullahoran NS.
WHEN: Sunday, October 28, noon.
WHAT: After a brilliant success last year Mullahoran Parents Association presents a Fun Run/Walk commencing at noon. Fancy Dress optional. Support appreciated.

Spooky Walk
WHERE: Killoughter Hall.
WHEN: Monday October 29.
WHAT: Redhills Playground Committee fundraiser. It starts off with a Fancy Dress and Pumpkin Competition in Killoughter Hall at 5pm. A “Spooky Walk” follows from the hall into Shannow Wood at 6pm. Donations voluntary. Contact Evelyn Costello on 086 198 5648.
