Breffni Photography Club host workshop

Breffni Photographic Club will hold their first activity of the year in the Lakeside Manor Hotel, Virginia on Saturday, January 26.
A spokesperson for the club, PRO Vera Farrelly, said that they are looking forward to hosting one of Ireland’s top professional photographers: “After the Christmas break our members are looking froward to this very exciting workshop.” The Epson Ireland and Podge Kelly Training Day is open to all and offers a unique insight into the skills of a professional snapper. Podge has been shooting and making images for over 40 years. He has created and presented 40 half hour shows on photography for RTE TV. He has also lectured on photography, lighting, Photoshop and Lightroom all over Ireland and internationally. He has regularly addressed the Societies Convention in London, one of the biggest conventions in Europe.
Podge will be lecturing on Lighting in Photography, Processing with Photoshop/Lightroom and Printing. This day is aimed at all photographers from novice to intermediate to advanced, all levels of photographers are welcome.
It is a full one day training running from 9.30am to 4.30pm with a break for lunch. It will be broken down into three sections. The cost for the day is €5 per person and tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite on the clubs Facebook page “Breffni Photography Club”. There area limited number of tickets available, so those interested are advised to book as early as possible.
