Gardaí investigating single vehicle crash at Ballytrust

Motorists travelling on the N55 from Granard to Balinagh experienced significant delays this morning.

As well as delays caused by the road improvement works outside Ballanaigh a road traffic incident at Ballytrust added to the motoring times on the stretch of road.

Garda attended at the road traffic incident. A statement from the Gardaí said: “We are investigating a single vehicle crash at Ballytrust, Cavan that happened at 7.25am on December 6. A van crashed into a wall. No one was injured in the incident.”
