Gardai in Cavan are asking the public to assist in tracking down a vehicle believed to be connected to burglaries in the local area, particularly with occupants seen acting suspiciously in the Ballyhaise area recently.
The car is thought to be similar to a Toyota Yaris or Ford Fiesta, and have urged members of the public with any information to contact them immediately.
Separately, almost €2,000 worth of tools were taken following a break in at a van parked at the Hotel Kilmore on October 23. The incident occurred between the hours of 1-4pm.
Furthermore, gardaí in Monaghan are currently investigating two burglaries which occured within 24 hours of one another.
The first burglary took place in Innishammon, Smithoro on October 22, and the second occurred in Nart, Smithboro on October 23.
In both burglaries, a number of power tools were stolen.
They are also asking the public’s assistance in locating a white Swift Challenger caravan stolen from the Corcaghan area bween 10.40am and 12.15pm on October 23.
Gardaí believe it was towed towards the Ballybay area by a silver or gold coloured older model Toyota Avensis.
