Ray D’Arcy Show  rolls into County Cavan

The Ray D’arcy Show and will broadcast live today from Cavan Town, on RTE Radio 1 from 3-4.30pm as part of Fáilte Ireland’s ‘Yours to Uncover’ summer marketing campaign for Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.  The RTE DJ has had live broadcasts from Clare to Offaly and from Longford to Leitrim and Cavan this week.
Head of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands with Fáilte Ireland, Paddy Mathews commented:
“Ray will be enjoying some of the many activities that Cavan and Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands has to offer ahead of each show to give the listeners a real insight on what the region has to offer visitors.”

Ray will be interviewing some local tourism businesses and discussing some of the many activities and experiences available to anyone visiting Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands as well as trying some activities himself in the area such as canoeing on Lough Oughter with Cavan Adventure Centre.
This promotion is part of Fáilte Ireland’s wider marketing campaign for Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands which commenced last month highlighting the region as the perfect place to take a short break. The multi-media brand awareness campaign worth €550k is currently running on TV, outdoor, radio and digital channels, showcasing how Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands is ‘Yours to Uncover’.
