Temperatures to reach 18 degrees this Good Friday

The fine spell of weather is set to continue this Good Friday and into the Easter bank holiday weekend, though people are reminded to stay at home or within a 2km radius of their property and not to visit beauty spots.
The latest forecast from Met Éireann says patches of mist will clear quickly this morning. It will be a mainly dry and mild day with some hazy sunshine. A few shower will develop through the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees, in light variable breezes, are predicted.
The national weather forecaster says tonight will be humid with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Lows of 6 to 8 degrees with light variable breezes becoming west to northwest by morning.
It will be a cloudy start to Saturday with patchy drizzle giving way to a few brighter spells in the morning. Further patchy rain and drizzle with develop later in the afternoon. Highs of 14 to 16 degrees.
Saturday night will bring showers or longer spells of rain. Generally cloudy with lows of 5 to 8 degrees.

Easter Sunday will be mixed with showery rain at times, with some heavy bursts in places, but occasional drier and brighter intervals too. A little cooler than recent days with temperatures closer to average for this time of year with highs of 10 to 14 degrees. Light to moderate northeasterly breezes.
Mostly dry on Sunday night with good clear spells. Moderate northeasterly breezes will drop temperatures close to zero in the north of the country, but milder further south with lows of 3 to 6 degrees.

Monday will be a cooler day with moderate to fresh and gusty east to northeast winds. It will be mainly dry with sunny periods. Highest temperatures of 10 degrees in the northeast to 14 degrees.
