Funny Money in Mullahoran and Ballyjamesduff

Marilyn Kearney, director of Sliabh Glah's production of Funny Money.

The Slieve Glah Drama Group, from Denn, Lavey and Crosserlough, continue to tour with their Ray Cooney comedy Funny Money. The next two dates are in Mullahoran this Friday, March 19, and Ballyjamesduff on Friday, March 26.

Directed by Marilyn Kearney, the play showed in the Ramor Theatre and Cavan Town Hall and lived up to its billing as a hilarious comedy. It's hard to believe that this was only this talented group's fourth production and only their second attempt at comedy, having played to packed houses last year with another Ray Cooney comedy, Run For Your Wife.

The show was described as "a gem". It was a fantastic performance and one would be forgiven for thinking you were watching a professional group.

If you missed it at the Ramor Theatre and other venues it filled over the past few weeks, you can still catch it in Mullahoran and Ballyjamesduff.
