Cavan auctioneers, Padraig Smith are now relaunching a remaining 19 two-bedroom bungalow style houses in Castlemanor Retirement Village.
According to negotiator for the auctioneers, Declan Woods, the houses have been "attractively priced" at €137,500.
"This is a reduction of 20% on last year's prices and it is felt that with this pricing structure there should be a strong demand for the houses," said Mr. Woods.
The properties form part of a circa eleven-acre development, which consists of the Castlemanor private nursing home facility and a total of 89 retirement units. All of the two bedroom units are identical in size and layout and come to the market with a full turn-key finish including a full furniture package.
Says Mr. Woods: "These properties offer an ideal opportunity for anyone over 55 years of age or who suffers from a long term illness or disability who are seeking to move to an area with the convenience of a major town and all its amenities on your doorstep yet having the peace of mind that you are in a secure environment with other residents of a similar profile and mindset".
It is important to point out that whilst retirement village units are similar to any other type of residential property with regard to ownership laws and rights, all residents of the houses must be either over 55 years of age or suffer from a long term illness or disability.
A new showhouse has been prepared and can be viewed at any time by contacting the auctioneer Declan Woods M.I.P.A.V. on 049-4362244 or cavan@padraigsmith.com.
