Whether you're looking for lake or river-side, residential or non, those in search of a farm are advised that Cavan town auctioneers, O'Reilly, Taylor & Tweedy are currently taking offers on the following seven holdings which are for sale by private treaty:

At Drumcrow, there is a residential farm of circa 17 acres. A section of the lands adjoins the River Erne and there is a two-storey residence in need of refurbishment. This is for sale in one or more lots.

They also have a 22-acre farm about two miles from Belturbet. Buildings on this land consist of a 60 X 30 silage shed, a cubicle house to hold 22 cattle and a two-bay hayshed. This pacious concrete yard with cattle crush.

Purposes

Another holding for sale is a 34-acre roadside farm all used for grazing purposes.

There is yet another holding, extending to circa 10.5 acres and situated a short distance off the Milltown/Ashgrove/Bakersbridge Road. Planning permission has been obtained for a dormer-style residence on part of the land.

Then in Drumullagh, Milltown, Belturbet there's 14 acres of reclaimed and reseeded land of good quality and suitable for any type of farming. Planning permission has been obtained for a two-storey residence on this farm.

Meanwhile, in Kilnahard, Kilnaleck, there's a holding of circa 19 acres situated alongside the public road with an extensive shore line on Lough Sheelin.

If it's an old-world farm cottage you're after, there's one about two miles from Cavan town on the market. It extends to circa 18.4 acres with long river frontage.
