Prospective students who wish to secure accommodation in Dublin with the offer that a deposit is refundable if their college place isn't secured may be interested in Hazelwood apartment complex, located in Northwood in Santry, which is nestled in a 220-acre estate and fringed by an expansive sylvan Park.

Hazelwood comprises purpose-built student accommodation, and the complex appeals to students from a wide range of colleges including DCU (which is located only a five-minute cycle from the complex), St. Patrick's College, DIT and Trinity College. The city centre is approximately 20 minutes by bus.

The gated complex has an on-site management office and 24-hour security. Each apartment consists of four private single ensuite bedrooms with large kitchen/dining area.

Hazelwood is offering an incentive to students who book accommodation before the July 1 - free gym membership to Northwood Fitness Club (part of the Ben Dunne Fitness Group) located adjacent to the complex.

The all-inclusive rates for the academic year 2010/2011 are as follows: September 19 to January 30 - €2,090 and January 30 to June 5 €1,980.

This includes internet access in each bedroom and an allowance of €370 of electricity vouchers for the term of the lease. A room can be secured with a deposit of €350, fully refundable if a student is unable to take up the accommodation due to failing to secure a college place.

• Contact Hazelwood Management Office, Hazelwood, Northwood, Santry Demesne, Dublin 9 at 01-8428050 or 087-9783986. Email info@hazelwood.ie or log on to hazelwood.ie.
