In keeping with plummetting property prices, two lakeside houses in Bawnboy are now on the market through Thomas Doonan Auctioneer, Ballyconnell with slashed prices.

Cois Breaclaigh is situated one-and-a-half miles from Bawnboy. Described by the selling agent as an exclusive development, there are two houses remaining, with their own road to Brackley Lake.

Each house is on its own 2.25 acre site with 50 metres of its own lake frontage, with the plot divided equally into approximately 45 metre wide x 220 metre long strips with the dwellings elevated approximately 20 metres above the lake with a road to the jetty and parking on the lakeside.

Brackley Lake is designated for fishing, water sports and leisure.

The two remaining homes are now on the market at €265,000 and €250,000 respectively; houses in the development were originally being sold for €420,000.

The homes are open plan with many modern features and B1 energy ratings. Each has decking, its own private jetty and parking. The houses are 1,800 square feet, four-bedroom with two bedrooms ensuite. Other accommodation includes family room, dining room, kitchen, utility room, bathroom and sunroom.

"These properties would make ideal holiday or family homes with their large gardens," comments the selling agent.

The Slieve Russell hotel and golf course, Shannon-Erne water way, West Cavan walks and Brackley adventure centre all within a five-mile radius.
