Under the instructions of the owner, auctioneer Padraig Smith, who has offices in both Cavan town and Ballyjamesduff, is offering for sale the entire lands, laid out in a number of division.

The lands are "in good heart" and the "has site potential" according to the selling agent, who points to the road frontage as a significant selling point.

Mr. Smith believes "there is movement in the market" at the moment. He recently held his first auction of the year, and Mr. Smith is optimistic that it bodes well for the property market.

The auction of a residential lakeshore farm in Threemilehouse, Co Monaghan took place in February 24. Lands comprised a residential farm of circa 20 acres with full planning permission and derelict house. It was divided into three lots.
