The Lavey nanny accused of murdering a baby in her care in the US is due in court later today.
Aisling McCarthy-Brady (35) is charged with murder, assault and battery of a child, in relation to the death of one-year-old Rehma Sabir in January of this year.

During a pre-trial hearing, her lawyer, Melinda Thompson, said the defence is waiting for medical reports from the District Attorney’s office on the existence of bone fractures in the weeks before the baby died. Those are to be exchanged today.
Her trial has been set for next April - the exact date may be decided at today’s hearing at Middlesex Superior Court.
