There is a children's section for flower arranging and well as cookery for adults and children. There are also photography and art classes for adults and children and no show would be complete without a bonny baby competition.

There are numerous trade stands and side shows from traditional Irish music and dancing and face painting for the children, to a pets' corner and bouncy castles. In the hall there will be cookery demonstrations by the chef from the Park Hotel in Virginia.

As this year is the 400th Anniversary of Bailieborough, the show is putting on a display of agricultural machinery and farming implements manufactured in Bailieborough in by-gone days. There will be exhibits from Sheriff Saw Mill, The Foundry, Rogers and many other organisation that are no longer around today. There will also be a written and pictorial history of some of these factories.
