First-timer feels the agony and ecstasy of the Dublin Marathon

"They say if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger," first-timer James Brady says of the Dublin City Marathon he completed in four hours and 30 minutes on the bank holiday Monday. It was his first and it might be his last, he says with a laugh on Tuesday, but once the torturous calf pain (through which he ran the last eight miles) wears off, he might be open to considering a repeat - but with better preparation next time.
