Cavan County Council is the best in Ireland

Cavan County Council has been crowned the top council in the country and picked up two other gongs at an awards ceremony in Dublin last week.
It was a big occasion for the council as it was the first time it had won the overall National Chambers Ireland Awards.
The council also received awards for the Peace III West Cavan Engaging Men Project in the Supporting Active Communities category, while the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark scooped the top award in the Parks and Recreation category.
