Prestigious coup for local musician

Ballyhaise resident, Paul Flynn, well known locally as a religion and music teacher, has been selected as part of the national submission to the International Society for Contemporary Music World Music Days Festival in 2013.
Paul's setting of O Sacrum Convivium for choir will now face the international jury who select the music for the festival. If selected the piece will have a coveted airing at the festival in Košice, Bratislava and Vienna.
Paul says he's particularly gratified that the piece that was selected by the Association of Irish Composers.
