
Three small national schools across the county may lose a teacher in September as a result of government cutbacks in education, The Anglo-Celt can reveal, writes Seamus Enright.
They are St Patrick's NS in Corlough (formerly Tullyveela NS), Billis NS at New Inns and Scoil Naomh Maodhog, Knockbride.
This is despite a report based on information from the Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO) headquarters to this newspaper last week that no small schools in the county were to lose teachers.
