Bailieborough gardai raid €40K growhouse

Gardai in Bailieborough this morning raided a growhouse in the town and seized what is initially estimated to be almost €40K worth of cannabis.

At around 11am this morning (Tuesday, January 19), Bailieborough gardai, supported by members from Dundalk, discovered 48 plants in various stages of growth at a private residence at Corkish in the town.

The estimated value of the find is €38.5K but is subject to analysis.

One foreign national male, aged 32, has been arrested and is being questioned at Carrickmacross Garda Station - he can be held for 24 hours.
