Wash 'n' go: Dishwasher emptied, then stolen from Kingscourt Youthreach

Gardai in Kingscourt are appealing for information in their investigation into the bizarre thefts of a dishwasher and laptops from a Youthreach centre just outside of the town.

The theft occurred overnight on Monday, March 7, and the early hours of Tuesday, March 8.

The doors of the premises were forced open by unknown culprits who proceeded to steal five or six laptops and a dishwasher, which they emptied before its removal.

There is no CCTV footage of the incident and gardai are appealing for anyone who may have been either on the Drumconrath side of the Railway area or on the Carrickmacross Road out of the town between 11pm and 1am on the dates in question.

Kingscourt gardai are investigating the matter and can be contacted on (042) 966 7292.
