Pro-life campaigners to stage event in Cavan Town today

Pro-Life campaigners will claim that an estimated 1,200 people are alive in County Cavan thanks to the the 8th Amendment, when they hold an event this afternoon (Friday).

The ‘Lives Saved' figure will be the focus of the 'LoveBoth Project' when campaigners will bring their message to Cavan Town's Market Square today at 4pm. 

The ‘Lives Saved' tour is visiting towns and cities around the country between now and the summer, highlighting the campaigner's estimation that 100,000 lives have been saved by the 8th Amendment. Hosted by Katie Ascough for the LoveBoth Project, the campaign features personal stories of women who faced a crisis pregnancy and whose babies owe their life to the curent constitutional ban on abortion.
