St Felim's for memorial?

Madam, As St Felim's Hospital, alias the Fever Hospital, alias the Workhouse, is now closed; it is only fitting it should be opened as a memorial to the many Irish people who died from both fever and famine, for which purpose the facility was originally built. It would be a very fitting memorial and also very appropriate as so many lost their lives there over the years and it should house the old records and be made available for public awareness. Even in these harsh times it is appropriate to commemorate the many Irish who lost their lives over the six years from 1845 to 1851. I hope this proposal get appropriate consideration from the various authorities. Yours sincerely, Dr E.C.J. McDwyer, Elm House, Athbara, Cavan.
