Kingscourt put in Star performance second time out

Kingscourt 's strength at midfield gave them a solid platform to build their attacks.

DESPITE their best efforts Killygarry failed to prevent Kingscourt Stars from capturing the Cavan Junior B football championship title when the teams met in the replay at Kingspan Breffni Park G2 pitch on Saturday evening last.

It was Killygarry who had forced this second meeting when the teams previously met in Virginia, after second-half sub Fergal Clarke pounced with two late points to give them another opportunity. However on this occasion there was no second chance as Kingscourt dominated for the most part.
