As expected, Terry Hyland and Val Andrews have been ratified as joint managers of the Cavan senior football team following a meeting in the Hotel Kilmore tonight.

The pair have been handed a three-year term, with a review after the second year.

There was no opposition among club delegates.

"These men are driven by a passion to see Cavan football succeed," stated county chairman Tom Reilly.
