Awards for brady oreilly and cullivan at packed anglocelt event
A crowd of over 200 sports stars and supporters flocked to the Cavan Crystal Hotel last night (Friday 30th January) for the inaugural Anglo-Celt Sports Awards, in association with the hotel.
The overall Sports Star of the Year was handball champion Paul Brady. Athlete Clodagh O'Reilly picked up the Young Sports Star award, with the Cavan U21 management winning the Outstanding Achievement.
Soccer legend Gene Cullivan picked up the Hall of Fame accolade, with Niall McHugo of Munterconnaught GFC crowned PRO of the Year.
The Readers' Choice award went to Cavan minor ladies footballer Beth Farrelly-McGee.
