Ten teams still standing in senior race

There are 10 teams still in the hunt for the Hotel Kilmore SFC title after a thrilling week of action concluded in Kingspan Breffni Park this evening.

Following their narrow extra-time defeat (in a replay) against Mullahoran on Wednesday, Ballinagh were back in action against Kingscourt this afternoon and incredibly drew again after extra time.

And there was another draw after extra time in the remaining qualifier at HQ as Cootehill and Killygarry played out a 3-15 to 0-24 tie in what was arguably the game of the season.

The draw for the quarter-finals has thrown up some mouthwatering ties with Castlerahan meeting Ramor, champions Cavan Gaels facing Ballinagh or Kingscourt, Killeshandra playing Lacken and Mullahoran taking on Killygarry or Cootehill.

Meanwhile, the IFC race is down to four. The semi-final pairings are Arva v Belturbet and Ballyhaise v Drumlane.
