Knockbride and Killinkere will meet again in the quarter-finals.

BREAKING: Junior Championship quarter-final line-up confirmed

The quarter-final line-up for the Cully’s Craft Bakery Junior Football Championship has been confirmed after today’s final round of group games and it has thrown up some intriguing ties.
The big news from today is that Denn, ranked among the favourites for outright glory after finishing sixth in Division 2 of the All-County Football League, have crashed out of the competition on score difference after losing by a point to Redhills.
Early pace-setters Killinkere’s surprising 14-point thumping at the hands of Munterconnaught means they must face Knockbride in the quarter-finals; Paddy Bates’s men beat Larry Reilly’s side last week but both were reckoned to be the leading contenders for the Sean Leddy Cup.
Elsewhere, there were wins for Drung, Templeport and table-toppers Mountnugent.
The quarter-final line-up will be as follows:

1.    Mountnugent vs. Munterconnaught
2.    Redhills vs. Templeport
3.    Drung vs. Shannon Gaels
4.    Killinkere vs. Knockbride
There will be an open draw for the semi-finals.
