Cillian Sheridan is on fire for Killie.

Video: Sheridan hits ninth in 12 matches

Paul Fitzpatrick Bailieborough man Cillian Sheridan netted his tenth goal of the season today (Sunday) but it wasn't enough to see Kilmarnock pick up a win against Sheridan's former club, Celtic, at Rugby Park. The former Cavan minor footballer's goal was his ninth in 12 matches but was merely a consolation as Celtic finished up deserving 3-1 winners. Killie currently sit ninth in the table, while Sheridan - who is making his name as a scorer of spectacular goals - is joint fourth in the top scorers' chart. The 6ft 5in Cavanman turns 24 in February and will surely attract a move to a bigger club next summer if he can continue his form at Rugby Park. Asked on Twitter recently what his best goal was, Sheridan replied "U16 final against Crosserlough".
