Cillian Sheridan is on fire for Killie.
Paul Fitzpatrick
Bailieborough man Cillian Sheridan netted his tenth goal of the season today (Sunday) but it wasn't enough to see Kilmarnock pick up a win against Sheridan's former club, Celtic, at Rugby Park.
The former Cavan minor footballer's goal was his ninth in 12 matches but was merely a consolation as Celtic finished up deserving 3-1 winners.
Killie currently sit ninth in the table, while Sheridan - who is making his name as a scorer of spectacular goals - is joint fourth in the top scorers' chart.
The 6ft 5in Cavanman turns 24 in February and will surely attract a move to a bigger club next summer if he can continue his form at Rugby Park.
Asked on Twitter recently what his best goal was, Sheridan replied "U16 final against Crosserlough".
