Quinn Group victims of 'mindless sabotage'
The North's electricty supply board has said it is only a matter of time before someone gets 'severely injured, or killed', after a spate of attacks on electricity poles at Quinn Group premises in County Fermanagh, reports The Irish Examiner.
The paper says two high voltage poles have been cut down, and a third burned, in attacks the Quinn Group has described as 'mindless sabotage'.
The Group's communications network has also been targeted at the plant on the Derrylin/Ballyconnell border.
In a statement, the Quinn Group said: 'The incidents damage not just the company and its customers, but also the job security of Quinn employees and the reputation of the locality.'
